Instructions for Adding JoVE Content in Brightspace
This walkthrough provides step-by-step instructions for adding educational videos to your Brightspace LMS course. You will learn how to access the Jove platform and seamlessly integrate new content into your training module.
Go to jove.d2l-partners.brightspace.com
1. Access Content Section in Brightspace
Open Brightspace and navigate to your content section. Click on Existing Activities to select the course you wish to manage.
2. Navigate to Distinctivity for Videos
Visit the Jove Videos (Live Version) platform to enhance your LMS content library with additional videos.
3. Open Jove Video Platform
It will show Open JoVE LTI Tool in new Tab, click here
4. Acknowledge Jove Notification
Confirm the notification prompt to proceed within the Jove platform interface.
5. Select Biology Chapter in Jove
You can select the content you wish to add to your LMS. Here, I am choosing the Biology subject, which will include additional chapters.
6. Initiate Content Addition Process
Initiate the process of adding the selected educational content to your LMS from the Jove platform. Here, I am choosing "Chemistry of Life" to incorporate its content into your LMS.
7. Enter Required Information
8. Proceed with Content Submission
9. Provide Additional Content Details
Select any additional content needed to complete the content addition to your LMS. Proceed with the submission process to prepare the selected content for integration into your LMS.
10. Add Content to LMS
Confirm adding the selected educational content to your LMS to make it available for learners.
11. Return to Brightspace Training Module
After adding content, you are redirected back to the Brightspace training module to review updates.
12. Access Scientific Method Content
Open the Scientific Method section to view newly added educational videos within the training module.
