If you are experiencing issues accessing JoVE content or quizzes through your Learning Management System (LMS), please follow the steps below:
1. Enable Third-Party Cookies
Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browser. This is required for the JoVE LTI tool to function properly.
You may follow these instructions:
How-to-Enable-3rd-Party-Cookies-for-the-JoVE-LTI-Tool
2. Access Content Only Through the LMS
Always launch JoVE content or quizzes directly from your LMS.
Please avoid opening JoVE links from bookmarks or external sources, as this may cause authentication issues.
3. Re-launch the Content
If you encounter an error, close the current session and re-launch the JoVE content or quiz from inside the LMS.
4. Log Out and Refresh Session
Log out completely from your LMS, clear your LMS session if possible, and log in again before retrying access.
5. Restart Your Browser
After making any changes (such as enabling cookies), restart your browser to ensure updates take effect.
6. Re-authenticate via JoVE Website
Go to https://www.jove.com/ and sign out completely. Then return to your LMS and re-access JoVE content using the LTI flow to refresh your login session.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please contact your institution’s LMS administrator or JoVE support at support@jove.com for further assistance.
