Use JoVE AI Search to Find Scientific Articles and Videos

This tutorial explains how to use jove's AI search feature to find relevant scientific articles and videos across the platform. You will learn how to enter queries, submit them, and understand the search results effectively.

2. Use Natural Language Queries

Using contextual or natural language queries, you can just type your questions directly in the search bar on the home page.

3. Enter Your Search Query

Enter your question or topic in the search bar to find relevant scientific articles and videos.

4. Type Queries on Any Page (2)

You can type your queries in the header search bar available on any product or video page for quick access.

5. Input Additional Search Queries

Enter your questions in the search bar to explore topics such as in silico medicine and related content.

6. Submit Queries to AI (2)

Once you enter your queries, hit the Ask AI button to receive relevant results and suggestions.

7. View Query Description and Video, Explore Additional Video Suggestions, See Video Titles and Views, Identify Video Access Indicators

You will get a short description explaining your query in detail, along with a video suggestion most relevant to your question. Along with the main video, additional suggested videos related to your query will be displayed for further learning. For each suggested video, you can see the title and the number of views to help gauge popularity and relevance. In the suggested video section, each video shows an access indicator to inform you about your viewing permissions.

8. Understand Access Indicator Colors

Green means it's an open access video you can watch, while grey indicates you do not have access to that video.

9. Review Product and Video Details

You'll see the product name, such as research or education, article titles, number of reviews, and video duration.

10. Continue Contextual Queries

You can continue to ask more contextual queries within the AI search, and it will retain the context of your previous questions.

The AI search provides additional details about your queries to deepen your understanding of the topic.

When you continue a certain query, the AI search retains the context of your earlier query and gives you answers accordingly.
