Setting Up JoVE Content with Leganto

Integrating JoVE videos into Ex Libris Leganto is quick - just copy the JoVE Embed Tool URL and paste it into your Leganto reading list. Follow the two steps below:

1. Get the JoVE Embed URL

• Steps:
  1. Log into your JoVE account. If you don’t have one, sign up at JoVE Account and select the "Professor/Instructor" role.
  2. Browse to the video you want.
  3. Click Embed Video button below the title.
  4. Optional - 
     1. Choose audio language and size.
     2. Choose whether you want to show title and enable/disable autostart.
  5. Click on Copy URL in JoVE Embed Tool.

2. Add the Video to Your Leganto Reading List

• Steps:
  1. In Leganto open your reading list and click + Add  then ▸ Manual entry.
  2. For Type, select Video. Add the appropriate Title. Click Next.
  3. Paste the copied JoVE embed URL into the URL field. Add JoVE as the Publisher. Click Next.
  4. Click Add. This will close the window showing a notification "Item was added to the list".
  5. Preview the draft video by clicking on View Online.
  6. Click My List is Ready at the top of the page to send it to the library for review and approval.
