Translating a Quiz during creation:

1. Start creating a quiz -
   (1) By clicking on “Create Quiz”
   (2) Using JoVE Library – using Single Video Quizzes/JoVE Chapter Quizzes/Textbook Chapter Quizzes
   
   
   
   
2. Once you have completed creating your quiz, save it. After the quiz has been saved, a message box would appear as shown in image below:
   
   
   
   
3. By clicking on the Translate Quiz button, the following pop-up box appears, where you can choose the language you want the quiz to be translated into.
   
   
   
   
4. After clicking on the 'Translate Quiz' button above, we will start the translation process.
   
   
   
   
5. Your quiz is not translated! Once the translation is complete, the Translate Button is replaced with a Reverse Translation button -
   
   
   
   
   • If you want to save the translated quiz, click on the “Save” button in the top right corner.
   • If you want to go back to the quiz that was before translation, click on “Reverse Translation”

Translating your Quiz from the 'My Quizzes' tab:

1. You can directly translate a quiz that you have already created from My Quizzes tab also, using the Translate button highlighted below -
   
   
   
   
2. Upon clicking the Translate button against the quiz you want to translate, following pop-up box shows up:
   
   
   
   
3. You can select the language you want the quiz translated in here and then click on the Translate Quiz button. Your Quiz will start getting translated:
   
   Note that this quiz is a cloned translation, i.e. a copy of the quiz is generated rather than the original quiz getting translated. You can identify the cloned version by the name (the cloned version would have the Language of the quiz as pre-text to the original quiz title)
   
   
   
   
4. Once the translation is completed, you can use this quiz as yet another quiz.
