1. Embedding JoVE Videos
You can embed individual JoVE videos directly into your Sakai course.

Steps:
- Log into your JoVE account. If you don’t have one, sign up at JoVE Account and select the "Professor/Instructor" role.
- On the JoVE website, select the video you want to embed and copy the embed code.
- Log into Sakai, navigate to your course, and click 'Lessons' on the left-hand side.
- Select 'Add Content', then click 'Embed content on the page'.
- Paste the embed code from JoVE into the provided box.
- Save the content, and the video will be embedded and visible in your course.
2. Loading a Common Cartridge File
You can request a common cartridge to import multiple JoVE videos into Sakai at once.

- Request a common cartridge from your JoVE Curriculum Specialist by emailing CustomerSuccess@jove.com.
- Log into Sakai, go to 'Site Info', and ensure the 'Lessons' tool is enabled under 'Manage Tools'.
- Navigate to 'Lessons', select 'More Tools', and then choose 'Import CC/CP'.
- Upload the common cartridge file, and the videos will be imported into your course.
3. Using JoVE LTI Tool
The Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) tool allows for seamless integration of JoVE videos, playlists, and quizzes into Sakai.

Steps for LTI Tool:
- Contact your Sakai administrator to enable LTI tool installation if you don't have administrator access.
- Log into JoVE, navigate to your Profile, and click on LTI Admin.
- Create a new LTI consumer, copy the Consumer Key and Secret Key.
- In Sakai, go to Site Info, then click External Tools, and select Install LTI 1.x Tool.
- Fill in the fields for tool title, launch URL, and keys, and then save the settings.
- Add JoVE content to your Sakai course by selecting 'Lessons', then 'Add Content'.
