Sharing, Downloading your Playlist and other features under ‘My Playlists’

The My Playlist (‘Created By Me’ and ‘Shared With Me’) section under JoVE Playlists allows you to use the playlists you have saved or that have been shared with you with the following features -

 

 

For every playlist in your 'My Playlists' section you can

  1. ‘Edit’ - Takes you to the playlist builder where you can edit your playlist. Read more about the playlist builder here.
  2. ‘Preview’ - Opens the playlist in a full page playlist preview in a new tab.
  3. ‘Import CC to LMS’ - Allows you to download and LMS compatible CC file which allows you to upload the entire playlist at once to your course. Learn more about how to use a CC file in an LMS here.
  4. ‘Copy Link’ - Copies a link to the full page playlist preview of that playlist. This link can be shared with anyone. You will not be required to sign in to see the full page playlist preview.
  5. ‘Clone Playlist’ - Allows you to create a clone of your playlist.



  6. ‘Create Quiz’ - Takes you to the quiz builder under JoVE Quiz (as shown in the image below). You will see the videos from your playlist and questions from our quiz library (mapped to the videos in your playlist) loaded in the quiz builder. You can learn more about JoVE Quiz here.



  7. 'Add to MyClass’ - (If you and your institute have access to MyClass then) This option allows you to add your playlists to a class within MyClass. To learn more about MyClass, click here.



  8. 'Download CSV' - This option downloads the list of all the article IDs of the videos present in the playlist. These can then be used to add videos in bulk to a playlist in bulk (in the playlists builder).
  9. 'Delete Playlist' - This option allows you to delete a playlist. Please note that once a playlist is deleted, it cannot be recovered!
